Wabash Valley! Get ready to shop the CaroleMakes Yarn Truck on MLK Day, in partnership with Wabash Valley Fabrics!
Carole will be parked and full of goodies for you - raw angora fiber from her bunny farm, handspuns, all independently dyed yarn bases, weaving and spinning supplies, notions and fun goodies. Her daughter will also be there with her own handdyed minis (a monthly exclusive!). Come shop 10-4pm.
CaroleMakes is a fabric and fiber small business located in Plainfield but she travels all over Indiana in search of yarn deserts - to bring them the goods! Carole raises angora rabbits for their fiber and shears them much like you would sheep, llamas and alpacas. But have no fear - they aren't hurt in the process and Carole spoils them every day of their life. She boasts 31 rabbits in her fluffle and half are rescues, surrenders and retirees. While she specializes in angora, she sources other animal fibers from Indiana farms so the product is still local, still supporting a farm and all Indiana Grown certified.
