Welcome to my 1st JUNK Journal Workshop!!I'm no stranger to scrapbooking and documenting my life, but JUNK journaling is a new take on how to journal in a less stressful way, low cost, more personal and materials we have at home. You don't need anything fancy(although I'll be offering all my goodies to you) all you need to bring are your momentos, Polaroid pics if you have some, tickets to that concert, receipts and anything that holds a special memory to you. This activity will help you express yourself and unlock your creativity.
The point of the Junk journal is to hold your memories in 1 place, relax and unwind, bond with others in our community and create with like minded women.
In class you can bring your own notebook journal especially if you have one started already, but for your 1st class you'll receive a notebook Journal. All you'll need to do is bring anything you want to include in your book such as:
IDEAS:
*movie stub tickets
*pics
*personal notes
*wrapping paper
*sheet music
*museum tickets
*receipts
*plane tickets
*bookmarks
*postcards
I'll supply the following:
*paper, printed paper, magazines, books, markers, paper cutter, scissors, twine, ribbons, envelopes and glue sticks.
*Please feel free to bring drinks...you can always grab lunch at Public Market next door and bring over.
*Parking is located in the back lot, front of studio or at Harmony hall gravel lot.
*Class will be 3 hours, but feel free to leave when you want.
*I'll have coffee, hot tea or hot chocolate and small charcuterie board.
