About this Event
Whether you're caring for a parent, spouse, partner, family member, friend, or others in your professional role, taking care of yourself is one of the best ways to continue caring well for others.
Join OptWell for this free interactive workshop designed to help caregivers prioritize their own well-being while gaining practical tools, community resources, and support.
This workshop will include:
- A mini Mindful Movement session featuring gentle movement, brain-training, and mindfulness practices you can easily incorporate into your daily routine—no special fitness level or experience required.
- Practical self-care strategies to help reduce stress, build resilience, and support your overall well-being.
- Expert guidance and information about caregiving resources available throughout our community.
- Opportunities to connect with other caregivers who understand the challenges and rewards of the caregiving journey.
Who Should Attend?
- Adults caring for aging parents
- Adults caring for spouses, partners, or other loved ones
- Anyone in a caregiving role, including family caregivers, teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, and others who regularly care for or support others
Resource Fair
Arrive early or stay after the workshop to explore our Caregiver Resource Fair, open 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after the program. Meet local organizations, discover valuable resources, and connect with professionals and fellow caregivers.
