Fun Run for Families!America’s Toughest Road Marathon is happening in Roanoke, VA on April 18th. Thanks to Carilion Children’s, families with kids of all ages are invited to join in the fun and run or walk in the Carilion Children’s Family 1-Miler.
Race Course: The same starting line and finish line as the marathon! This is a friendly out-and-back, 1-mile stretch, starting at the Patrick Henry Building, running down Jefferson Street to the Walnut Bridge and back to the Finish Line at Elmwood Park.
Everyone who participates gets a medal and a race shirt and healthy snacks at the finish (Register by March 22nd to be sure we have one in your size!)
Registration:
-$10/child (Children 2 & under are FREE. No need to register just sign a waiver at packet pick-up)
12+ years old can run the mile without a guardian running with them (parents please accompany child to start/finish area regardless of age)
-$15/adult (18+)
-Simply select the option that suits your families needs. If you just have a parent/child duo, then just register for two. If the whole family wants to join then we don’t want you to break the bank, so please select the family option.
