About our Speaker: Michael Brandwein is a nationally award-winning educator, speaker, and author who has made presentations for parents, teachers, youth professionals, and others in all 50 states and on 6 of the 7 continents. He is the author of six best-selling books on training and leading adults who work with children, including his latest, Growing Great Qualities in Kids: The L.A.S.E.R.B.E.A.M. Technique for Bringing Out the Best in Young People. Michael wrote and presented three Emmy® award-winning television programs, Parenting Puzzle, on communicating with children that have been broadcast on PBS stations nationwide. He is a frequent keynoter and workshop leader for national organizations that serve families and youth. His Juris Doctor degree is from the University of Chicago. He and his wife Donna have two adult sons and live in the Chicago area.
