Applications are currently being accepted for the next session of MAC ‘s Care Provider Training, to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, Oct. 6 to Nov. 13, at MAC.MAC is located at 909 Progress Circle in Salisbury.
Participants will learn the basic skills to become a professional care provider or enhance their existing care provider skills. This training is designed for caregivers interested in employment in private care, a home health agency, or an assisted living facility.
The training is open to anyone age 18 and older who lives in Wicomico, Worcester or Somerset counties; there is an emphasis on attendees aged 50 and older.
