In this five-week course, (9 classes), students will learn basic signs to carry on simple conversation with deaf individuals. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. Students will also learn about Deaf Culture. By the end of class, a sampling of the skills you will learn are: Manual Alphabet, numbers, introducing yourself and exchanging personal information.
Cost is $150 per person. Classes held at DILA, 806 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD every Tuesday & Thursday from 6pm-8pm. Class size is limited. Complete registration form and return to DILA with payment.
