Captain Sunshine Interactive Workshop - Nottingham

Climb aboard the Sunshine for a wonderfully interactive event with award‑winning author Alex Milway, celebrating Captain Sunshine, a flamboyantly fun new series set on an animal‑filled cruise ship.

Children will meet Bella, a brand‑new young Captain following in the flipper‑steps of her walrus Aunt Bertha, and discover the eccentric crew who help her navigate life at sea - from Mr Tatou the sea dog to penguin entertainers Flip and Flap. Packed with creativity and laughter, the session includes a sea shanty sing‑along, a penguin drawalong, and learning the hornpipe.

Alex Milway is a full-time children's books author-illustrator and screenwriter. His books include the Hotel Flamingo series, Big Sky Mountain series and the recently published Captain Sunshine (Piccadilly) and Pigsticks and Harold (Walker Books).
