About this Event
Trish Tutton
Trish Tutton spent years working in cultures where stress and burnout were seemingly the only way to success. After suffering a shocking loss, she realized: stress is unavoidable, but it doesn’t have to dictate our lives. Trish has spent over 15 years studying with world class teachers, practicing mindfulness and learning about the science of well-being. As a speaker and mindfulness teacher, Trish has taught the skills to become UNSHAKABLE and THRIVE amidst change and challenge to over 15,000 people across North America. She is passionate about helping folks become more resilient and less stressed with simple but impactful mindfulness techniques.
She’s a teacher on the #1 free meditation app in the world, Insight Timer, and the author of Mindful Mornings.
Turn Down the Stress in Your Mind
Being a speaker and entrepreneur (as many of us are) is not for the faint of heart. If you've ever gotten stuck in your head ruminating about a scowling audience member, a talk that went goodish-bad or sweating through the shirt you haven't even picked out for your next sales call, you've noticed how your mindset can affect every area of your business. Your mindset is like the soil beneath the crop of your business. The quality of your mindset determines what flourishes and what withers. In our September meeting Trish will share a simple but powerful technique to create a mindset to thrive through your next big sales call, audience feedback form or slow season (economic downturn anyone?) This one simple technique is scientifically proven to turn down the dial of stress in your mind, prevent spiralling thoughts at 11:42pm and put you in a more hopeful and optimistic frame of mind as you continue to grow your business and share your genius with people who need your wisdom.
Jessica Belbin
Jessica Belbin is an applied improvisation facilitator with over ten years of experience helping professionals build confidence, connection, and adaptability in high-pressure environments. Drawing from a background in improv performance, coaching, and facilitation, she works with organizations to develop human skills that can’t be automated like presence, listening, and trust. Jessica’s work bridges the gap between performance and authenticity, offering practical tools that support meaningful connection in live, unpredictable settings.
Authenticity is a Practice
In live events, authentic self-expression isn't something you perform, it's what emerges when you're fully present, adaptable, and responsive in the moment. This talk draws on the principles of applied improvisation to strengthen the human skills that matter most in our industry: listening, trust, judgment, and connection.
Through interactive exercises accessible to all experience levels, you'll explore how to stay grounded and genuinely responsive in live environments; and walk away with practical tools you can use immediately.

SELLING! THINK Yourself® A SALES PRO
Most speakers’ dream is to simply show up on the platform without having to do the sales pitch. Wouldn’t that be nice? You’ve got the “speaking” part down, but sometimes you’d rather drill holes in your feet than have to “sell” your services.
Your message matters. You can truly change the world. But securing paid speaking engagements is what really makes you a professional speaker.
Discover the sales strategies, pipeline techniques, CRM funnels, follow-up systems, and mindset shifts Nathalie used to elevate her speaking business into the High-Income Earners Group. You will also discover the five types of imposter syndrome voices - and learn how to transform them - along with brain science insights on how to read your client’s mind and confidently close the sale.
Get ready to fill your calendar and propel your speaking business.
