About this Event
Capital City Improv is Maine’s premier professional improv troupe, delighting audiences across the state with imaginative, spontaneous comedy crafted entirely from real-time audience suggestions and interviews. Under the creative leadership of founder Dennis Price—who honed his craft in Chicago’s legendary Second City and IO Theater—the troupe will deliver a performance with a hilarious Hallmark holiday theme.
Dennis Price has performed comedy and improv throughout Maine for the last 20 years. He studied in Chicago with IO Theater (ImprovOlympic), Second City, The Playground Theater, and Chemically Imbalanced Comedy.
He has taught and led workshops throughout the state for children, teachers, businesses and more. He also founded MaineImprovEducation as a way to bring improvisation and theater into schools and classes to help with learning.
In 2012, he started Capital City Improv to bring more laughter to the world.
He lives in Readfield with his wife, Dania and Charlotte and Wilbur, his wonder-poodles.
