About this Event

Step into a candlelit sanctuary for an intimate evening of remembrance, connection, and healing in honor of Día de los Muertos.

Rooted in the sacred practice of remembering those who came before us, this ceremony invites us to slow down, open our hearts, and create space for our ancestors, loved ones who have passed, and the lineages that continue to live through us.

And you do not need to have recently lost someone close to you to enter this space. Grief takes many forms. We can grieve the ending of a relationship, the loss of a job or home, a former identity, a past version of ourselves, a dream that changed, or a chapter of life we are being asked to release. This ceremony welcomes both the grief of those who have crossed over and the quieter deaths and rebirths we experience throughout our own lives.

We will begin by gathering in circle with ceremonial cacao, sharing in prayer, intention, and reflection as we honor the spirit of Día de los Muertos. Cacao will serve as a heart-opening companion, helping us soften inward and connect more deeply with memory, gratitude, love, grief, and the wisdom we carry within us.

Through guided meditation and intentional reflection, you’ll be invited to remember someone who has crossed over, connect with your ancestral roots, or honor something within your own life that has ended or transformed. What are you ready to lovingly lay to rest? What deserves to be remembered? And what new part of you may be asking to emerge?

The evening will then unfold into an immersive candlelit soundbath, with the vibrations of gongs, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, bells, drums, and other healing instruments creating a space for deep rest, emotional release, and integration.

Rather than approaching death and endings only through grief, Día de los Muertos reminds us that remembrance can also be an act of love and celebration. We gather to honor what was, give gratitude for what remains, and make sacred space for the cycles of death, transformation, and rebirth that move through all of our lives.

Expect to experience:
• Ceremonial cacao
• Día de los Muertos teachings & reflection
• Ancestral remembrance and intention setting
• Guided meditation for grief, release & renewal
• Candlelit sacred space
• Immersive gong & sound healing journey
• Space for grief, gratitude, love & connection
• Community and collective remembrance

You are welcome to bring a photo, flower, written note, or small meaningful object representing an ancestor, loved one, past version of yourself, relationship, chapter, or anything else you wish to honor and place on our communal altar for the evening.

Come as you are. No previous experience with cacao, meditation, or sound healing is necessary—only an open heart and a willingness to remember, honor, and release.

A candlelit evening to honor those who came before us, grieve what has ended, celebrate the love that remains, and create space for what is ready to be born.
