Acacia Confusa + Syrian Rue: Origins, Ancestral Uses, and Ceremonial Practices
About this Event

Jennifer Langford will lead participants through a two-hour workshop exploring Acacia confusa and Syrian rue — two plants with long histories of ceremonial and ancestral use.

We’ll look at where these plants come from, how they have been understood and worked with across different cultures, and the traditions and stories that have gathered around them over time.

Taking place on Day of the Dead, the workshop offers a fitting moment to consider memory, lineage, and the ways plant knowledge is carried from one generation to the next.

The gathering will close with a non-psychedelic tea offering and a guided Yoga Nidra practice.

If you wish to avoid ticket fees, please visit the Church of Mother Gong to register in person.
