Fire is one of the oldest and most powerful tools in the practice of magic. In this immersive Candle Magick Class led by Samantha Porter, participants will learn how to harness the energy of flame to focus intention, amplify manifestation, and transform energy into tangible results.This class offers a deep exploration of candle magick, blending both practical instruction and spiritual understanding. Attendees will learn the foundations of candle magick including color correspondences, dressing and anointing candles, timing rituals with lunar and planetary cycles, and the symbolic language of flame. The class will guide participants through the complete process of preparing, charging, and activating candles for a variety of intentions such as love, protection, prosperity, healing, and personal transformation.
Samantha will share insight into how candle magick works on both an energetic and psychological level, helping students understand why this ancient practice continues to be one of the most effective and accessible forms of spellwork. Participants will also learn how to interpret candle behavior during and after a ritual, such as flame height, soot, and wax patterns, to gain clarity on the outcome of their working.
The class will include a hands-on portion where each participant will create their own intention candle to take home. Students will choose their candle color, select herbs and oils, and infuse the candle with a personal affirmation or sigil. All materials will be provided, and participants will leave with both knowledge and a finished candle ready for use in their own practice.
