Led by Wendt Regional Cancer Center team members, this support group was created with every cancer patient in mind, no matter their cancer journey stage. It is also open to caregivers, family members, and supporters.
𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀:
• April 15, 2026: The theme for the April support group session is "Real Talk - Real Support: Let's open up about radiation therapy." You're invited to a safe space to talk about radiation therapy - questions, fears and more. All are welcome. Patients, survivors, caregivers, family and friends. This month's meeting will be held in the Wendt Regional Cancer Center conference room.
Together, we will:
• Discuss the science of gratitude's power on our brains and bodies.
• Explore different ways to practice gratitude and mindfulness.
• Discuss barriers that may feel like they are standing in the way.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m., Suite 3300. For more information regarding this support group and to register, please contact the Wendt Regional Cancer Center at (563) 589-2468. Registration is appreciated, but not required.

Our mission is to uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer, providing a safe space for sharing and support. We will cover a variety of topics and have an open forum.

Our vision is that everyone impacted by cancer receives the support and resources that they want and need throughout their journey and beyond. No one faces this challenge alone.

This is a safe space. What you share here will not be shared outside of this group. Your story is yours to share as you wish.
