Organised by Diversity ACT with financial support from the Australian Capital Territory, Office of LGBTIQA+ Affairs, the Canberra Queer Film Festival (CQFF) will take place in 2 days only - 14 and 15 September - and for FREE.
With the theme of “Our Stories, Our Love," the Canberra Queer Film Festival will celebrate colourful and diverse stories written by and for the LGBTIQA+ community and allies in Australia and around the world. This will also be the first queer film festival ever to be organised locally in Canberra.
Bringing back the Australian icon - The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - along with a selection of 2 international feature films and 14 short films from 13 countries worldwide. Among these, 10+ films will premiere to Australian audiences for the first time.
