Canary Media and Volts are teaming up at Climate Week NYC for a special live podcast double feature. Volts founder and journalist David Roberts will sit down for subsequent conversations with two leaders shaping the future of clean energy: Carlos Araque, co-founder and CEO of Quaise Energy, and Doreen Harris, president and CEO of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).

Araque is working to unlock the enormous heat beneath our feet through supercritical geothermal, a technology that could provide a constant, carbon-free power source anywhere in the world. Harris leads NYSERDA, New York’s clean energy agency, which is driving the state’s transition to renewable power.
