Satellite-based methane data is equipping governments and the private sector with the information they need to find and fix methane super-emitters - offering a fast, cost-effective way to quickly address a major source of global warming.  

With the U.S. federal government shifting away from climate leadership,  states and international jurisdictions are stepping up to fill that gap and drive action. Carbon Mapper, alongside a growing ecosystem of methane data initiatives, is delivering more accessible global data on methane super-emitters - and working to translate that data into action.
