Canarsie Street Tree Care

Join us to learn about and care for street trees at Canarsie Park.

Meet us at E 86th Street and Seaview Avenue, on the park side of Seaview Avenue.

We will start by discussing the importance of our urban forest, idenitfying street tree types, and their health before learning how to tend to tree beds along the avenue through collecting trash, weeding, cultivating the soil, as well as applying compost and mulch!

All supplies will be provided. Please dress for the weather, wear closed toed shoes, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
