Canadian Walk For Veterans Hamilton

Good day Hamilton and surrounding area neighbours I’m the host of this event and I’m hoping that posting this here we can raise awareness about the issues our veterans have here in Hamilton such as homelessness, job loss, food bank issues and many more.
This walk helps raise funds for the True Patriot Love Foundation where part of the registration and donations gathered come back into Hamilton to approved veteran initiatives. I’m a veteran myself and have taken on the task of lead organizer and walk gatherer to make sure this event gets as many people out to support our veteran community and to keep this walk alive in Hamilton.
We are also having a food drive for the local military family resource centre that supports our military and their families and has put food banks into the local military establishments to support our military members and their family at this time of food crisis.
If there is any veterans or Veteran supporters that would like to showcase what they do to support the Veteran community we are looking for vendors to set up at the event. Please reach out if you wish to do so.

We are also having a free barbeque for all registered participants of the walk.
