IWB Multicultural Talent Showcase & Community Celebration

Immigrant Women in Business (IWB) invites our community to come together to celebrate Canada’s Multiculturalism Day with a vibrant, joyful, and deeply meaningful event honouring the cultures, stories, and talents that make our country strong.

This event welcomes all ethnicities, genders, disabilities, ages, sexual orientations, races, religions, LGBTQ+ communities, Indigenous peoples, and all who champion Human Rights and Gender Equality.
Everyone belongs. Everyone is valued. Everyone is celebrated.

About IWB

IWB is a coalition of female leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, and social innovators dedicated to providing programs and services that accelerate women’s business ownership and strengthen their impact on the Canadian economy.

“We will work together, grow together, so we all benefit.”

IWB proudly stands for LGBTQ+ inclusion, Indigenous rights, Human Rights, and Gender Equality — values that shape our programs, partnerships, and community impact.

🎤 Multicultural Talent Show Open to All

This year’s celebration features an open‑mic Multicultural Talent Show where anyone is welcome to share a piece of their heritage. Participants can:

  • Sing a traditional song
  • Read a poem
  • Perform a cultural dance
  • Showcase instruments, storytelling, fashion, or any cultural talent

We celebrate unity, diversity, and belonging — and we welcome every voice, every culture, every story.

Talent Show Highlights
  • Open to Everyone — All ages, all cultures, all backgrounds.
  • Any Cultural Talent — Songs, dances, poems, storytelling, instruments, fashion, or unique heritage traditions.
  • Winners Celebrated — Those who express their culture with passion, authenticity, and unity will be recognized.
  • Audience Energy Matters — The performers who move the audience the most will shine.

This is not a competition — it’s a celebration of who we are.

🎶 What We Will Celebrate Together
  • Music from around the world
  • Cultural dances and movement
  • Poetry and spoken word
  • Traditional clothing and heritage pride
  • A multicultural potluck — everyone is welcome to bring a dish that represents their culture.

This event is a living example of Multicultural Unity, Diversity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, Indigenous respect, Human Rights, Gender Equality, and Canadian identity.

❤️ Why This Event Matters

We honour the truth that Canada’s strength is its diversity.
We celebrate the immigrant journey, the courage of newcomers, and the beauty of cultures coming together in harmony.

IWB’s mission is to empower, uplift, and unite — and this event brings that mission to life.
