- The first Canadian pilot of Sustainability Challenge, an interdisciplinary, practice-oriented course taught conjointly by Algoma University and Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU, Vienna University of Economics and Business) presented by students.
- Also featuring the Anji Inaashkawun team iniatives for caring for water in the Upper Great Lakes region.
