Campaign to End Loneliness Roadshow - Doncaster
About this Event
This is one of a series of roadshow events, traveling around the UK, which are designed to bring policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and people with lived experience together to tackle loneliness. For this roadshow event, we have teamed up with Phil Holmes, ADASS President, City of Doncaster Council. Participants will be able to join the UK-wide conversation, which is designed to shape action on loneliness and social connection. The event offers a mixture of informative talks, interactive workshops, and panel discussions to help us understand loneliness, how it can be tackled, and how we can create more connected communities. The event will focus on the potential of adult social care in helping to end loneliness, and participants are encouraged to put the “social” back into adult social care. The findings will help shape the Campaign to End Loneliness strategy going forward and will feed into the APPG on tackling loneliness and connected communities.
