Camp Courage is a 3.5-day summer camp that provides children with a safe and fun place to express, share and explore their feelings and issues related to the death of a loved one. Camp Courage will be helping facilitate this by offering smaller peer groups, the opportunity to create personal artwork aimed at the child’s expression of their grief and allow them the opportunity to celebrate and memorialize the loved one who has died. Every child will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor games and activities.
Camp Courage is a free camp provided for 5-12 year-old kids who are touched by grief. Our meaningful grief projects, as well as fun and playful activities make camp a positive and memorable experience. We have therapy dogs every day and kids will be given a snack and lunch, and participate in outdoor games and activities.
