Camp BW Kids: Handmade Heritage
Throughout the week, campers will:
🎨 Create vibrant tin foil Mexican folk art inspired by rich cultural traditions
🌷 Craft Polish layered paper tulips, combining color, texture, and technique
🖌 Design batik cloth landscapes, experimenting with wax, dye, and pattern
Learning Lamp To Go will join the fun to explore the math behind tessellating quilt designs, guiding campers as they create their own paper quilt masterpiece.
The adventure continues with a field trip to the Heritage Discovery Center, where campers will see folk art come to life and gain inspiration from history, culture, and creativity.
Handmade Heritage blends art, history, and hands-on experimentation into one unforgettable summer experience. Perfect for young artists ready to explore, create, and connect with the stories behind every craft!
