LOCATION:
All camp days & performances will be held at the Westmont Hilltop High School, located at 200 Fair Oaks Drive, Johnstown. Auditions are the only camp activity that will be held at the Community Arts Center's location, 1217 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown.

AUDITIONS:
July 10 & 11 at CACCC, . Campers will be assigned a day to audition. No virtual auditions will be accepted. Auditions are purely for casting purposes - all registered and paid participants are guaranteed a spot in the camp.

Based on the hit 1994 Disney movie and Broadway musical, Disney’s The Lion King, JR. is the timeless tale of Simba, a young lion born to be king, who is forced to flee after the death of his father, Mufasa. On the outskirts of the kingdom, Simba learns about identity, family, responsibility, and what he has to do in order to make things right for the Pride Lands. Featuring classic songs like “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata,” the entire family will enjoy the perfect theatrical spectacle that is The Lion King, JR.

Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will also get the chance to learn a wide range of new theatrical skills—such as mask-making and puppetry—encouraging them to explore this beloved story with creativity and pride.
