This winter, Soulful Gatherings invites you to step into a gathering rooted in folklore, history, seasonal traditions and community.
The Winter Folklore Fayre is a unique new event for Cambridge and Cambridgeshire, bringing together folklore-inspired traders, artisan makers, divination arts, local history, wellbeing spaces and seasonal living in one atmospheric indoor gathering.
More than simply a market or fayre, this is being intentionally curated as an experience — a place to wander, discover, listen, learn and connect.
We are delighted to welcome The Cambridge Historian, who will be presenting two talks throughout the day exploring some of the more unusual, forgotten and fascinating sides of local history. Topics are currently being developed and are expected to include local folklore, witches, battles, traditions and some of the lesser-known stories woven into the history of our region.
Additional folklore-inspired experiences, talks and community features are currently being developed and will be announced as the gathering continues to unfold.
Expect a calm and welcoming atmosphere designed for curiosity, conversation, discovery and connection.
Trader, reader and featured guest announcements will be released gradually over the coming months.
