About this Event

Build your confidence sketching from collections. Learn to use your sketchbook as a visual diary, to document not just the visual aspects of an object but also your personal feelings, ideas, and observations. The goal is not perfection but to rediscover the joy of drawing, interpreting things in your own unique way, and turning the act of creating into a playful adventure.

These sessions will be run by Kate Phizacklea, our visitor Services manager, who has a background in teaching History of Art and Design, and our Front of House Assistant Suzie Dawson, who works in paint, print media and stained glass.

Important Information

  • Workshops are for adults of 16 years +
  • No audio or video recording is permitted of the workshops, without the clear permission of the Workshop leader and other participants
