About this Event

The Urological Malignancies Virtual Institute (UMVI) is hosting our first open symposium on Tuesday 15 September 2026. The theme of this year will be: Collaboration, Data and Discovery.

This event brings together researchers from across our portfolio, in prostate, kidney and bladder cancers.

The event is open to all researchers in cancer, or anyone with an interest including clinicians, scientists, patients, nurses and other allied health professionals, at all career stages from PhD students to professors.

Want to share your research with us? Submit an abstract for a flash talk and poster.

Anyone with a University of Cambridge or Cambridge University Hospitals affiliation is welcome to attend for free. There is a small charge for other attendees to cover our costs and support our work.

Check our website for an up-to-date agenda.

The sponsors of this event have supported us through a financial contribution towards the symposium, but have had no input into the content. Content from pharmaceutical sponsors is intended for UK healthcare professionals only.
