In the weeks surrounding World Car-Free day, hundreds of towns and cities around the world will be hosting Kidical Mass rides - come and join the fun in Cambridge!
Kidical Mass is a family-friendly bike ride with a festival atmosphere, showing that we want to cycle - and we need safe spaces to do so.
We welcome kids and adults of any age, on any type of bike. It's a free fun ride around the city centre, where kids can enjoy cycling as a group and improve their confidence on the road in a safe environment - at the same time demonstrating the need for safe, segregated, joined-up cycle paths so that everyone can move safely around our city.
(We ask that children are accompanied and that you're self-sufficient and responsible for any children you bring along. However, we'll ride as a group and there will be adults to lead the ride and help navigate any traffic).
We'll meet on Parkers Piece (near the University Arms Hotel) before the ride starts, and finish there for some snacks and fun afterwards.
