MEETING PLACE: Dorchester County Courthouse at the corner of High and Academy Streets. PARKING is available on High Street and side streets.Take a chilling, nighttime stroll down the most haunted street in Maryland, historic High Street, with 14 haunted properties in 2 blocks. By day, High Street is beautiful, but by night…you might feel like you're being watched.
Your storyteller will tell you about the ghosts of governors, lovers, murderers, lawyers, slaveholders, soldiers, children, desperate women, phantom dogs and a crazy cat lady along with tales of the Choptank River.
Walk through a very creepy and historic graveyard where an ancient yew tree has been known to sing all on its own. Mingle with the spirits of 4 Maryland Governors and other souls going back almost 400 years.
