Calm and Connected - a workshop for kids and carers aged 8-11 years old

Join us at Thrive Wellbeing Hub for a special workshop designed to help kids and carers aged 8-11 years old feel more calm and connected. Through fun activities and interactive sessions, participants will learn valuable skills to manage emotions, build resilience, and strengthen relationships. We know entrance exams and transition to secondary school and just attending school can create anxiety, we will teach you some tools to cope and that you can take home to practice for times that may feel overwhelming. Don't miss out on this opportunity to bond with your child and learn some simple coping mechanisms.

This workshop is designed and led by three local Mums with teenage children who know the how valuable this workshop will be for both parent/carers and the children.

Christine Hope : a licensed Mindful Teacher with over 10 years experience as a drama teacher and mental health lead in a primary school.

Angela Dobric: a primary school teacher and senior leader with an additional 10 years experience as a yoga, breathwork and meditation teacher for both children and adults.

Liz Cooper: a coach with 15 years experience, somatic trauma informed accredited and sound bath meditation teacher.
