About this Event
Starting November 6 and ending December 18, 2024, this 7-week program meets once a week, every Wednesday from 12:10 PM to 12:40 PM Pacific Time.
This program, open to graduates of our foundational mindfulness course (Mindfulness Meditation to Reduce Stress & Anxiety @Work (MMRSA)), aims to help participants continue and deepen their mindfulness journey in an informal, intimate setting with a like-minded community.
Building on the success of our mindfulness programs, this series offers a flexible and engaging way to continue your mindfulness journey. Whether you already have a daily practice, or are still attempting to create one, or just want to continue to connect with like-minded people and with our facilitators, join us and gain more insights and have deeper conversations and experiences.
Each session is 35 minutes long, consisting of:
- A Mindfulness Practice: Guided or silent mindfulness practice.
- Discussion and sharing: Guided or free form discussion and sharing.
Flexibility and Accessibility
Each session is designed to stand alone, offering significant benefits individually, while the full series fosters a deeper connection with mindfulness principles. You’ll gain value even if you attend only some sessions. Plus, all sessions are recorded, allowing you to catch up at your convenience.

Important notes from Pierre Khawand, the creator and co-facilitator of this program: Please note that this course is based on the science of mindfulness and is secular. If you currently have certain spiritual practices, religious endeavors, or any belief system, mindfulness practices can support you and deepen your work. Finally, I would like to acknowledge and honor the practitioners, scientists, and thought leaders who have paved the road to make mindfulness more accessible to more of us, from Jon Kabat Zinn, to Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Sharon Salzberg, Richard Davidson, and many others–too many to mention, as well as the generations of eastern practitioners and their centuries of practice that led to the body of knowledge and experience that we can enjoy and treasure today! Looking forward to sharing these practices with you :)
