Calgary Arts Development Congress 2024: IN PERSON ATTENDANCE

The 2024 Living a Creative Life Congress focuses once again on Art for Social Change and continues to probe the question: How might artists lead the way to a more equitable, inclusive, and accessible city where everyone belongs? This year we are exploring that question through the lens of our city’s new branding Blue Sky City as we look at ways Calgary can live up to the promise and potential of truly being a blue-sky city.

Get inspired, hear about some of the amazing work being done by Calgary artists, exchange ideas, enjoy good food and possibly find new collaborators for future projects. If that’s not enough, we invite you to enjoy some good food as well!

There are 3 parts to this year's Congress. Please select the ticket type for EACH part you wish to attend

DAY ONE CONGRESS: Dec 4, 2024

12:30 PM- Doors Open for Day One Congress

1:15 PM- Congress Starts. Afternoon to include welcome, panel discussions, context setting and a breakout session

3:30 PM- Coffee Break. Light snacks available

5:30 PM- End of Afternoon Programming and Dinner Break

Note: Dinner will be available for those staying for the evening keynote.

DAY ONE KEYNOTE:

6:30 PM- Doors Open for Evening Keynote

7:00 PM- Special Guest Speaker Jesse Wente

9:30 PM- End of Evening Programming

DAY TWO: Dec 5, 2024

9:00 AM- Doors Open for Day Two Congress. Light morning snacks available

9:30 AM- Congress Starts. Day to include welcome and shareback of Day One, panel discussions, artist faciliated breakout sessions and Congress wrap up discussion

11:30 AM- Lunch Break. Lunch provided

3:15 PM- Coffee Break. Light snacks available

5:00 PM- Event End
