About this Event
The Cal Poly Alumni - Sacramento Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly’s founding from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Baker Family Wines (2568 Industrial Blvd, Ste 120, West Sacramento, CA 95691).
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.
Ticket options:
- General Tickets ($12): Includes a glass of beer or wine plus this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day swag
- Dry Tickets (FREE): Includes limited-edition Founders Day swag
Additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food will be available for purchase from a local food truck on site. This family-friendly event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters of all ages.
Space is limited. Registration closes on Thursday, March 5 at noon or when full.
We hope to see you there!
