Cal Poly Alumni — North Bay Community Founders Day Celebration

The Cal Poly Alumni — North Bay Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly’s founding from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, at Hook and Ladder Winery (2134 Olivet Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95401).

Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.

This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy remarks from members of the Cal Poly Alumni — North Bay Community.

Guests will experience a guided tasting of seasonal wines that will begin promptly at 2 p.m. with time for mingling after the tasting flight. Tickets are $40 and include charcuterie, a variety of wines to taste and a special swag item. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters and guests ages 21+.
