Join Citizens for the Advancement of Community Development (CACD) on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for the IDPAD Excellence Gala — our principal annual celebration of leadership, service and achievement, and the flagship fundraising event for youth and community development in Mississauga and the Peel Region.

Inspired by the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent, the Gala honours legacy, celebrates excellence, and invests in tomorrow's leaders. This year's event will be CACD's largest public platform yet — introducing our New Direction, the Learners to Leaders+ Framework, the Sonia Cunningham Scholarship Fund, and our long-term vision for a CACD Centre of Excellence for Leadership, Innovation and Community Development.
