About this Event

Join us for an exclusive tour series exploring the hidden architecture, little-known spaces, and overlooked artifacts in the historic Ten Broeck Mansion. This special tour "Cabinets, Cupboards & Curiosities" offers a unique glimpse into how historic houses were utilized, delving into the intricacies of storage practices, household management, and the reasons behind their preservation. Discover the often-overlooked areas and little-known architectural details of this renowned historic site, and gain a deeper understanding of the lives of its past inhabitants and workers. This tour includes an exploration of the spaces used by servants and enslaved persons, highlighting diverse stories at the Ten Broeck Mansion.
