What does it truly mean to see each student as created b’tzelem Elohim—in the image of God? In this “in the style of” book club, we will explore how Jewish values and contemporary educational practice intersect in powerful ways.Drawing inspiration from Kyle Schwartz’s I Wish My Teacher Knew, we willexamine how simple opportunities for student voice can uncover hidden struggles, deepen relationships, and transform classroom culture. Together, we will reflect on practical strategies for building trust, fostering belonging, and supporting the whole child—academically, emotionally, and spiritually. We will meet in the CJL Reading Room. Worth 1.5 LOMED credits. RSVP here: https://forms.gle/jMnBnwhJeeGiRHsu9
