Tonight: Chicago based, nationally touring recording artist Jon Allegretto has enjoyed decades-long success as an independent singer/songwriter/guitarist as well as frontman of the rock band A Friend Called Fire. He performs soulful original music with a modern twist, as well as spirited takes on popular classic hits from the ‘50s to today. His sound is rooted in alt pop/rock and electric blues with an injection of folk sensibilities and an emphasis on melody and explosive lead guitar playing.
