BX Creatives Connect

Join us for another year of BX Creatives Connect on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Walnut Bar & Grill. This dynamic event will activate The Bronx with live performances by local DJs, musicians, dancers, and poets - showcasing the best of Bronx talent. Produced by Ayanna Williams of Uptown Melody, attendees will enjoy an evening filled with words, sounds, and rhythms from rising Bronx artists who embody the soul of our community.

About BCA:

The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) is dedicated to advancing cultural equity in The Bronx. From creative placemaking and arts advocacy to the provision of services for artists and arts organizations, as well as programming for children and seniors, BCA was the first organization in The Bronx to focus equally on supporting local artists, serving the community, and catalyzing relationships between the two.

About Uptown Melody:

Uptown Melody, created by Bronx-Native Ayanna Williams aka Ayanna The Singer, is a platform dedicated to highlighting Bronx and uptown creatives through dynamic live music events and artist development workshops. It is a Black-and-Latinx-owned Business, celebrating the diversity of the arts and culture of The Bronx. Ayanna’s goal is to bring her community together through entertainment, education and networking opportunities.
