Buy Local Greater Kalamazoo & Chamber Unification Meeting

The Southwest Michigan First Chamber is proud and honored to take on the mission of Buy Local Greater Kalamazoo (BLGK) and serve as the single point of contact for small and locally owned businesses here! After many thoughtful discussions and collaboration between both organizations' leadership, we are now uniting efforts to ensure that greater Kalamazoo’s small and locally owned businesses receive the same robust support, visibility, and access to resources that Chamber members of all sizes already benefit from.

With this unification, programming, discounts, and promotional opportunities targeting small businesses from retail, to restaurants, and more will now be hosted by the Chamber, creating a more streamlined, impactful, and accessible business support system. This means greater opportunities for relationship-building, expanded educational resources, increased marketing exposure, stronger community initiatives, and enhanced advocacy—all within a single, powerful network.

This is an exciting step forward for the growth and sustainability of our local business community, and we look forward to welcoming former BLGK members into the Chamber family.

Chamber staff and ambassadors, former BLGK board members, and fellow local business owners will share insights on what to expect, how to get involved, and how this strengthened network will help your business grow.
