"So many high-achieving women are functioning in a constant state of pressure, responsibility and mental overload — outwardly coping, while inwardly exhausted. Over time, stress becomes normalised and burnout can begin to feel inevitable.

In this honest and thought-provoking workshop, transformational coach Paula Smith explores why so many capable women end up disconnected from themselves, trapped in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing and carrying too much for too long. This is not another conversation about simply managing stress better — it’s about understanding the deeper mindset and identity patterns that keep women stuck in cycles of overwhelm, guilt and depletion.

Attendees will leave with practical insights, powerful self-awareness and a different perspective on what real change actually requires.

Paula Smith is a transformational coach, speaker and former Executive Headteacher with over 35 years’ experience leading in education. After leaving the profession and rebuilding her own life in midlife, she now works with high-achieving women who are successful on the outside but privately overwhelmed, stuck or questioning “is this really it?”

Known for her honest, direct and deeply insightful approach, Paula helps women uncover the hidden patterns shaping their stress, confidence, decisions and sense of self — creating lasting change from the inside out. She is passionate about helping women stop abandoning themselves in the process of holding everything else together.
