Darby McLean

CEO of Spiceology

Darby McLean is the CEO of Spiceology; named on the Inc. 5000's list of fastest-growing companies for 6 consecutive years. Prior to joining Spiceology in 2020, she spent 20 years in the food technology and biotech industries in roles ranging from bench scientist to product development to senior executive leadership.

Darby McLean is registered as an inventor on numerous patents and has led multiple successful FDA clearances of medical device products. An active member in Spokane's entrepreneurial ecosystem and vibrant business community, McLean serves on GSI's Leadership Advisory Council and serves as an Honorary Commander for Fairchild Air Force Base in the Force Support Squadron.

Darby also currently chairs the Dean's board for the Colleges of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (CSTEM) at Eastern Washington University.
