BURNT OFFERINGS - OPENING
Exhibiting alongside McGarva are Nelson-based sculptor Chauncey Flay and Te Ara Hihiko's Jacob Scott and Jason Kendrick. Translated as ‘the creative pathway’, Te Ara Hihiko is a Hawke’s Bay-based collective led by Scott and Kendrick, recognised for its large-scale Māori carving practice with significant works installed nationwide including in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, Kaweka Hospital, and Hawke’s Bay airport.
Join us for the opening and be among the first to experience this powerful new exhibition. Meet the artists, hear the stories behind the works, and celebrate an evening of art, conversation and connection.
