Burning Rope were named in the top five in the UK Blues Awards 2026 in the Emerging Artist category, and their debut album was top 20.
The band were born from the ashes of multi award winning blues rock band Catfish who lost their frontman to cancer in October 2024. The rest of the band decided they would like to continue to play, write and record together so formed Burning Rope. Their second album 'Dissolution' will be released in May 2026 and consolidates their unique combination of blues, rock and prog.
They will be playing in the Vestry Hall at 8pm on the Saturday evening. Join us if you can. The whole event is free of charge and there are 30 bands across the weekend.
