Who were the educators and mentors that influenced earlier generations of young Plymoutheans? Meet fusty schoolmarms, feisty schoolmasters, and teachers who inspired true learning, guided by Dr. Donna Curtin, Executive Director of Pilgrim Hall Museum, now in its 200th year! Meet at the top of Burial Hill at 1 pm for this FREE walking tour (involves potentially strenuous walking on steep hillside). The Burial Hill tour program was launched in 2011 by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society in collaboration with Pilgrim Hall Museum. Since 2016, the two organizations have co-presented the annual series. Themed history tours of the ancient burying ground are held on the first Saturday of each month, February through December.
