Bump Start is a FREE weekly group for expectant parents to connect with each other and build their village. We have a themed discussion and guest speaker each week to support you through your pregnancy, birth and transition to parenthood.This week we will be joined by Ann Bruce, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Breastfeeding Counsellor, South Cumbria Breastfeeding Support
Ann is passionate about supporting families to meet their own breastfeeding goals and has run free breastfeeding support groups in South Cumbria for the last 13 years.
During our session on Wednesday, Ann will focus on breastfeeding challenges; how to avoid them and how to solve them. Many parents want to breastfeed but find it much more difficult than they expect. The more you can learn about breastfeeding before your baby comes along, the higher your chances of reaching your own breastfeeding goals, whatever they may be.
Though this topic will be our focus, Ann will happily answer any questions you have on feeding your baby – whether with breast, bottle or anything in between.
