FEATURED TALK: Busy, Growing… and Still Skint: Is this growth creating real value?

Many business owners find themselves working incredibly hard but still feeling busy, skint and unfulfilled by their business.

Bev Wakefield, Founder of Vibrant Accountancy, explores this common trap, describing it as accidentally building yourself a "really pretty cage."

Drawing from her own experience and her passion for supporting business owners, she discusses how to step back and re-evaluate your approach to business.

Key themes of the talk include:

• How to shift your mindset to start pricing for value.
• Assessing if you are truly getting enough out of your hard work.
• Finding the right financial balance between what you personally need to take out of the business and what the business needs to make.

This is a welcoming space to:

• Meet others in the local startup and tech community
• Share your experiences
• Build lasting connections in Derby's growing ecosystem

Whether you’re running a business, studying, working in tech or just curious — you’re welcome.
