About this Event

Have a software business idea and wondering what you actually need to build first?

The TechForge Accelerator from Business Sheffield is a series of five in-person workshops designed to support technology-centred startups, particularly those involving software.

The accelerator is best suited to early-stage founders. You might have an idea you're exploring, be developing a prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP), or have already started trading.

You can attend one or more workshops in the TechForge Accelerator series depending on your needs. Each workshop lasts just over two hours, with an opportunity to network at the end.

What is this TechForge Accelerator workshop about?

This session focuses on an important stage for software startups: building your first prototype, sometimes known as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

You'll explore why an MVP is an important stage in developing your software business and how to approach building one.

The session will help you consider what should and shouldn't be included in your MVP, explore different routes for developing it and provide practical tips for managing your MVP project.

What to leave out of your MVP
