Building Education and Pedagogy for Early Career CVs

Education focused academic positions (including Manchester Met's "Education Practice Citizenship" roles) are an increasingly common pathway for early career scholars. In this workshop Jess will share tips about how to build the 'education' part of your CV in a way that will help you position yourself to be competitive for these jobs, and the skills that will allow you build an academic career once you get one. Collaboration, advocacy and creativity are key to navigating this reconfiguration of academic labour in a way that is both sustainable and rewarding. The session will include a practical session, helping participants craft compelling and well-evidenced stories about their teaching practice.
